Got a financial scare or two? You’re not alone. And this Wednesday, October 15, the Sphere Innovation Lab in Florence is offering a lifeline for women and nonbinary entrepreneurs to tackle some of those spooky money matters.
From 9 to 11 a.m., their Office Hours event is creating a safe space for professionals to do one-to-one meetings with financial experts, get guidance, and leave with practical tools to address financial challenges—whether personal or business-related.
Fear of finances? You’re in good company
The theme this time around is all about confronting financial fears. Not sure how to handle budgeting, saving, or planning for your business’ future?
You’ll have a chance to speak with Jen Ewers, a seasoned financial advisor who recently joined the Edward Jones Northampton office, and Oriana Falkowski, the owner of Money Map Coach.
Both bring a wealth of knowledge about navigating the murky waters of financial planning, and they’ll be available—free of charge—to offer advice, whether you need help with your personal finances or managing your business books.

Why this matters for small businesses in Western MA
Financial planning is one of the biggest headaches for small business owners, and the fear of money mismanagement is very real.
Events like this offer a rare opportunity for local entrepreneurs to get insights on how to improve cash flow, avoid debt traps, and plan for future growth.
Plus, networking with others in the community? Priceless.
So, if you’re local and in need of a financial pep talk, stop by Sphere Innovation Lab this Wednesday (October 15). It could be just the boost you need to go from fear to financial empowerment.
