In a continued effort to bolster Northampton’s local businesses, Keiter Corporation has donated $25,000 to the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce for its 2023 Keiter Card promotion. This initiative allows consumers to purchase a $25 Northampton Gift Card and receive $50 in spending power at participating local establishments.

The promotion, titled “Building Our Community Together,” launched on August 9, 2023, and ran while supplies lasted. The $25 Keiter Gift Cards were available exclusively at the Chamber office at 99 Pleasant St., Northampton, during regular business hours. Consumers needed to mention they wanted a Keiter Gift Card, and the promotion applied only to $25 Northampton Gift Card purchases, with a limit of one card per customer per transaction.

This marks the third consecutive year Keiter has supported this initiative, increasing their donation from $10,000 in 2021 to $20,000 in 2022, and now $25,000 in 2023. An additional $5,000 from the Chamber’s Community Revitalization Fund was added to Keiter’s contribution to further stimulate the local economy.

The Northampton Gift Card is accepted at over 100 local businesses, including restaurants, shops, and spas, in the city, making it a versatile option for supporting the community.

For more information about the Keiter Card and participating businesses, visit the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce website.

The Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce runs a similar matched-funds gift card annually.
