Holyoke will once again throw its doors wide open this fall. The 5th Annual Doors Open Holyoke (DOH2025) is set for Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Businesses are invited to take part.

Organized by the Office of Planning and Economic Development (OPED) and project managed by Heather Kies, the event invites businesses, cultural institutions, and historic spaces to open their doors free of charge for one day only.

Since its launch in 2021, Doors Open Holyoke has welcomed thousands of visitors to explore the city’s unique destinations, from the Victory Theater, which is undergoing a massive restoration, to the Mass Green High-Performance Computing Center, the Masonic Temple, Hotel Jess, City Hall, and the famous Open Square Water Wheel.

The idea is simple: highlight the places, people, and stories that make Holyoke special.

Residents and visitors alike get the chance to discover hidden gems, connect with businesses, and celebrate the city’s ongoing transformation.

Why participate?

  • Showcase your business or organization to new audiences
  • Connect with Holyoke residents and visitors
  • Be featured in event promotions, including video interviews highlighting what being part of Holyoke’s history means to you

How to get involved

Submit your application by September 19, 2025, to be included as a participating site. Entry for visitors must be free during event hours.
