About

The Latino Economic Development Corporation (LEDC), established in 2022, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting economic empowerment and community development among Latino and other underserved populations in Massachusetts. As an affiliate of Partners for Community, the LEDC mobilizes community resources to assist those in need and protect the city's investments.
Services and Programs
  • Mini-Grants: The LEDC provides mini-grants to Latino businesses to offset expenses such as continued rental of space, trainings, capital improvements, and other needs of the Latino business community.
  • Capacity Building: The organization offers specific entrepreneurial training and education to bridge the educational and training gap among Latino communities.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: A team of business professionals, including human resources experts, accountants, financial coaches, marketing specialists, and more, provides guidance and support to business owners in all areas of successful entrepreneurship.
  • Business Development Training: The LEDC offers training programs to help business owners undertake activities that lead to expansion and growth.
  • Ongoing Support: To ensure the success of Latino businesses, the LEDC continues to support grantees for up to 24 months, providing necessary guidance and protecting investments in each business.
