Rodgers spoke about the ongoing renovations at the hospital and how they will expand the Emergency Department by 40%, adding nine new patient rooms and four dedicated mental health care beds to accommodate the rising number of patients.

Rodgers stepped into the interim role after the departure of Lynette Watkins who had served in the role since 2021.

During her tenure, she led significant initiatives, including a $26 million renovation of the emergency department and the development of a certified nurse aide program in partnership with Bay Path University.
