Who is Eligible
The Black Founder Startup Grant is designed for Black and multiracial women and nonbinary entrepreneurs who meet the following criteria:
- Identity: You identify as a Black woman or Black nonbinary entrepreneur, inclusive of multiracial Black individuals.
- Legally Registered Business: You must have a legally registered business entity.
- Scaling Plans: Your business should have the potential to scale and attract investor financing in the near or distant future.
- High-Impact Ideas: Your venture must have a scalable, innovative solution with the ambition to grow into a billion-dollar business.
Details
The SoGal Foundation, in partnership with other sponsors, offers grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to support Black and multiracial entrepreneurs in their journey to build impactful businesses. The program not only provides financial assistance but also connects recipients with the foundation’s vast entrepreneurial network and resources.
