UMassFive College Credit Union and UMass Athletics have opened nominations for the second annual Small Business Spotlight Contest, celebrating local businesses that make a positive impact in Western Massachusetts.
One standout small business will receive a $10,000 advertising package during the ’25–’26 UMass hockey and basketball season at the Mullins Center. The package includes:
- End wall rotational signage (minimum of 4 minutes per game).
- One live in-game radio read on all hockey and basketball radio broadcasts.
- Tabling opportunities at three games of the business’ choice.
Two additional finalists will each receive $500 cash prizes.
The inaugural UMass Small Business Spotlight Contest took place in 2024.
The grand prize winner will be announced during the final UMass Football game on November 25, just in time for Small Business Saturday.
